요약문: Stellar bars are common in disk galaxies, but physical properties such as size, strength, and pattern speed vary from galaxy to galaxy. And stellar bars greatly influence the evolution of gas in disks by exerting a non-axisymmetric gravitational torque, resulting in creating gaseous substructures such as dust lanes and nuclear rings. Size and mass of nuclear rings and star formation rate in the rings also vary from galaxy to galaxy. The understanding of the formation and evolution of the stellar bar and gaseous structures is essential to the overall understanding of the disk galaxies. To study the evoultion of the barred galaxies, I run both hydrodynamic and fully self-consistent simulations of isolated galaxies including star formation and feedback. In this talk, first I will introduce the basic methods, advantages and disadvatages, and necessity of both types of simulations. And then I will discuss what controls the physical properties of stellar bars and gaseous nuclear rings, and star formation rates, and how stellar disk and gaseous disk affect each other.
